Make the most of the opportunity for science learning created by the Nature Program volunteers bringing these lessons to your classroom each month
This year your school will be working through one of the five concepts of The Nature Program; Ecosystems, Patterns in Nature, Earth, Structure and Function and Cycles in Nature. You can get to all of the content for each month’s unit in Nearby Nature, our online publication. Nearby Nature holds a treasure trove of natural science lessons and explorations designed to get children and adults outside learning together in every season.
All Nature Program lessons are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core; explore a sample here:
2019 NGSS and CC Standards Alignment Sample for Nature Program-Spiders (Available for each lesson)
