Four Winds Nature Institute Volunteers

volunteers at play Four Winds Nature Institute depends on the creative energy and dedication of our wonderful volunteers! We couldn't do this work without them.

In 2014, we have some 1,700 adult volunteers with the Nature Program in over 100 elementary schools in four states. Volunteers become part of a community of learners seeking to explore nature together, to unravel its mysteries, and to become engaged in its care and preservation.

Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a Four Winds volunteer in your community.  For more information about being a Nature Program volunteer, click here!

Four Winds staff members live and work in communities around Vermont, and we lead programs around New England. In addition to teaching in the Nature Program, there are other volunteer opportunities with Four Winds, from helping us collect and prepare teaching materials to writing newspaper articles to taking photographs at workshops. Please contact Lisa at (802) 353-9440 if you are interested in volunteering with Four Winds.
